【授業の達成目標】
・大学での学修の土台となるAcademic Skillsを使えるようになる。
・英語を使い他者とコミュニケーションを取ることができるようになる。
【授業のねらい】
Academic English Phase III では、1年次のAcademic English Phase I&IIでわれた
Academic Skillsを基礎に、より高度なAcademic Skills（Academic Writing,Academic
Reading & Academic Speaking)を発展的に養うことにより学術深究において欠かせない
Academic Skillsを確かなものとする。

| (2)授業の概要 | 上述のねらいを達成するために、主にAcademic Writing, Academic Reading 及び
Academic Speakingの演習を行う。
・Academic Writing:
エッセイライティング用の教材を用いて演習を行い、３～５パラグラフからなる論理的
且つ説得力のある英語論文をつくる。
・Academic Reading：
専門的な英語文献を読解することで、専門課程の学術探究で必要とされる読解力を磨く。
・Academic Speaking:
学際的なプレゼンテーションの実践を通じて、英語のコミュニケーション・プレゼンテ
ーションスキルを磨く。

| (6)成績評価の基準 | 授業で解説した内容と同レベルの問題が60％以上解ければ「水準にある（可）」、70％
以上解ければ「やや上にある（良）」、80％以上解ければ「かなり上にある（優）」、
90％以上解ければ「卓越している（秀）」とみなす。

| (7)事前事後学習の内容 | Students are expected to do most of the reading/textbook activities at home.
Class time will mainly focus on sharing ideas based on readings. A short quiz
will be given at the start of every class, the quiz content will be based on the
homework from the previous lesson.
The content of this syllabus is subject to change.

| (8)履修上の注意 | 授業への積極的な参加と定期的に出題される課題への意欲的な取り組みが必要である。
また、授業外の時間に、なるべく多く英語にふれる機会をつくるようにしてほしい。な
お、担当教員によって使用するテキストが異なるため、詳しい授業の内容などについて
は担当教員から直接説明をよく聞くこと。

| (10)授業への出席 | Students are allowed up to 4 absences. A student with 5 absences can not pass the class, unless they can provide proof of justification for their absences: medical certificate, funeral document or others.
Students should not be more than 10 minutes late to class, repeated lateness will result as an absence.

| (11)授業に出席できない場合の学修の補充 | If students can not attend classes and do the required assessments or homework it is necessary to contact me and arrange substitute work. |
