上述の目標を達成するために、Academic Reading及びAcademic Writingの演習を行う。
・Academic Reading:
アカデミックレベルの語彙を修得し、且つ文法や構文の正しい理解を基により高度な学術的な英語文章を読解する。
・Academic Writing:
文法・語法、コロケーションの演習、アカデミックレベルの語彙の確認、自然な英語表現を作成する演習を行いながら、1ないし複数のパラグラフから成る説得力のある英語文章をつくる。

とみなす。

| (7)事前事後学習の内容 | You must do weekly reading and writing homework assigned. If you are absent you are responsible to email the teacher and find out what classwork and homework you missed.

| (8)履修上の注意 | 授業への積極的な参加と定期的に出題される課題への意欲的な取り組みが必要である。また、授業外の時間に、なるべく多く英語にふれる機会をつくるようにしてほしい。なお、担当教員によって使用するテキストが異なる場合があるため、詳しい授業の内容などについては担当教員から直接説明をよく聞くこと。

| (9)質問,相談への対応 | The teacher will typically be available in the part-time teachers room on the 3rd floor of the General Education Building after class and will provide email contact information during the first class.
